Bid for experiences and make a difference

#RicardoForGood: Auctions that benefit UNICEF’s worldwide education programs

To mark UNICEF’s 75th anniversary, the United Nations Children’s Fund is now auctioning off a range of unique items and experiences with Swiss celebrities on Ricardo. These include a meet and greet with BLAY (Bligg and Marc Sway), a guided tour of the Federal Palace with Cédric Wermuth, a cookery class with the high priest of vegetarian cuisine Rolf Hiltl, a singing camp with the Schwiizergoofe, a studio tour with Baschi and many more exclusive experiences and unique items from Swiss celebrities.

All auctions start from CHF 1, with all proceeds going to UNICEF’s worldwide education programs for children in need. Education is the key to a self-determined life. 168 million children were out of school for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are in urgent need of help. Every day spent out of school increases the risk of early marriage, child labor and family violence. Exclusively on Ricardo, you can now bid for unique experiences with your favorite star and in so doing support UNICEF’s program work in the areas of education, healthy nutrition in schools and child protection.

75 years of UNICEF: Education. For every child.

All proceeds from this auction will go to UNICEF’s worldwide education programs. For exactly 75 years, the United Nations Children’s Fund has been working around the world to ensure the survival and wellbeing of children. During UNICEF’s anniversary year, its focus is on the global learning crisis, which has been further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Education is a critical factor in making the world a more equitable and sustainable place for every child. That is why UNICEF is working in 144 countries around the world to ensure that children and young people have the knowledge and skills they need to develop successfully. The focus is on access to high-quality education for all, stronger education systems and improved learning in humanitarian crises and emergencies. Every child in the world has the right to education and a future.
