Elections completed: These are the new delegates of UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

All five existing delegates have been re-elected. They are now joined by five new delegates from the constituencies of Central Switzerland, Northwestern Switzerland, Italian-speaking Switzerland and French-speaking Switzerland. We would like to congratulate them on their election and look forward to working with them.

This year’s delegate elections took place in five constituencies between 28 November and 12 December. In the constituencies of Liechtenstein, Central Switzerland and Northwestern Switzerland, there were the same number of candidates as vacancies. As a result, tacit elections took place in these constituencies. In the constituencies of French-speaking Switzerland and Italian-speaking Switzerland, the members who were entitled to vote elected their future delegates in their constituencies. Here are the election results in full.

All existing delegates were re-elected:

  • Claudia Fritsche, Schellenberg (tacit election, Principality of Liechtenstein)
  • Martina Sochin-D’Elia, Eschen (tacit election, Principality of Liechtenstein)
  • Sandro Foiada, Contone (Italian-speaking Switzerland)
  • Flávio Borda D’Água, Chêne-Bougeries (French-speaking Switzerland)
  • Valérie Induni, Cossonay (French-speaking Switzerland)

Five new delegates were also elected:

  • Andreas Blum, Bottmingen (tacit election, Northwestern Switzerland)
  • Massimiliano Nunziata, Bäch (tacit election, Central Switzerland)
  • Frida Andreotti, Minusio (Italian-speaking Switzerland)
  • Maureen Decosterd, Echichens (French-speaking Switzerland)
  • Grégoire Labhardt, Plan-les-Ouates (French-speaking Switzerland)

We look forward to working with the existing and new delegates.
