The five nominees for the «Voice of Youth» 2025 award by UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein together with 20 Minuten have been selected. Now the jury will decide who will receive the title.
The «Voice of Youth» is an award by UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein in cooperation with «20 Minuten». It shines a spotlight on young people who, through their own commitment, reach others, spark change, and inspire as role models. The aim is to amplify their voices, recognize their contribution, and encourage other young people. From an initial shortlist of eight individuals, readers of «20 Minuten» chose the five finalists in an online vote – almost 8,000 people took part.

Now it is up to the jury: UNICEF ambassador Bastian Baker, 20 Minuten’s editor-in-chief Désirée Pomper, and selected members of the UNICEF Youth Community. The evaluation is based on clear criteria – role model function, impact of the engagement, motivation, and commitment. The winner will carry the title «Voice of Youth» 2025 and, for one year, inspire other young people to raise their voices for the causes closest to their hearts.
