Sion im Bund der «Kinderfreundlichen Gemeinden»

Als erste Stadt im Wallis wurde am 20. August 2014 Sion mit dem Label «Kinderfreundliche Gemeinde» anlässlich der «Fête de l’Ecole» ausgezeichnet. Die Auszeichnung würdigt den politischen Willen und das Engagement aller Beteiligten - Kinder, Jugendliche, Eltern, Vereine und Verantwortliche aus Politik und Verwaltung, die UN-Kinderrechtskonvention auf Gemeindeebene umzusetzen.
