UNICEF Contest Terms of Participation

By participating in this contest, participants agree to the following terms and conditions. The contest is organized and conducted by UNICEF. All persons who meet the eligibility requirements set out in these terms and conditions are entitled to participate. Please read the terms carefully, as they contain information regarding participation, winner selection, and data protection.

1. Organizer

The contest organizer is UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Pfingstweidstrasse 10, 8005 Zurich, Switzerland (hereinafter “UNICEF”).

2. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old and reside in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.

Employees of UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. Participation period

The contest runs from June 1, 2026, until 11:59 PM on July 19, 2026.

4. Participation

Participation requires subscribing to the UNICEF Newsletter via the registration form on this page.
After registering, you will receive an email with a confirmation link. Your participation is not valid until your confirmation is received.
Precondition for eligibility to win is an active newsletter registration at the time the winners are determined.

One entry allowed per person. Multiple entries will not be accepted.

Participation is free and does not require a donation.

5. Prizes

Valid participants have the chance to win one of ten (10) UNICEF footballs signed by Swiss footballer Alayah Pilgrim.

No cash alternative or exchange is offered.

6. Selection and notification of winners

Winners will be selected at random at the end of the contest and will be notified by email sent to the address provided by them. 

7. Data privacy

By entering the contest, participants agree to receive the newsletter of UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Newsletter recipients may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in the newsletter.

8. Liability

UNICEF assumes no liability for technical disruptions that may affect contest participation.

9. Miscellaneous

The organizer’s decision is final.

UNICEF reserves the right to make changes to or prematurely end the contest at any time for good cause.
